Where do I begin??
This year is flying by....and my blogging is way behind! This summer flew by too seems like the kids were out only days and the new school year started which they were not happy about. They are having a great year so far and I'm so proud of how hard they work. I think this year is Kayley's year her grades are awesome, she was elected to student government, placed advanced on her MCT2 exams from last year, entered the upcoming beauty review at school (which makes me a little nauseous)! She is growing up so fast I wish I could slow it down a little. Cody loves his teacher and has all A's! Tony still works out of town alot which makes me sad but we manage. My sister Jennifer is going to have a baby!! I'm sooo excited! She is due in May....I love babies! And I cried like a baby when she told me. God is so Good! We just booked our cabin in the Mountains for Thanksgiving we are so excited we didn't get to go on vacation this summer so we are ready to get out of town for a few days. I'm loving this cooler weather can't believe it's October already got to get some mums and pumpkins for the porch.....Happy Fall Ya'll!

We'll Miss You
A million times we'll miss you.
A million times we'll cry.
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still,
In our hearts you hold a place
No one else could ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God took you home.
This past week has been a blurr...I feel like I'm in a bad dream and I wish I could wake. I loved my Paw-Paw dearly. He wasn't sick hadn't been to the dr. he was always on the go. 83 years young and worked 3 days a week. It was his time the way he would have wanted to go..quick with no sickness so I'm greatful for that! His service was beautiful! He was a WW2 vet. And was buried with his bible. Something about losing the last of your grandparents. He had such a sweet soul! What a wonderful "homegoing" he had. I love you Paw-Paw.

Better than a Hallelujah
You know how sometimes you hear a song and for some reason it just speaks to you and you are flooded with emotions and it fits either the day your having or something that is going on in your life well this is one of them. I heard it today and I thought wow! God loves us no matter what. All the mistakes we make and all the things going on in this crazy world he continues to love us. So I looked it up on you tube to get the lyrics and watch the video I love it even more now. It's sung by Amy Grant....amazing!
God loves a lullaby
In a mother's tears in the dead of night
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes
God loves the drunkard's cry
The soldier's plea not to let him die
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah
The woman holding on for life
The dying man giving up the fight
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes
The tears of shame for what's been done
The silence when the words won't come
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes.
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah
Better than a church bell ringing
Better than a choir singing out, singing out
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah
God loves a lullaby
In a mother's tears in the dead of night
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes
God loves the drunkard's cry
The soldier's plea not to let him die
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are

Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes.
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah
Better than a church bell ringing
Better than a choir singing out, singing out
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody

Are better than a Hallelujah

Greatest man in history...
Greatest man in history named Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him master. Had no degree, yet they called Him teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him healer. Had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. Committed no crime, yet....they crucified Him. He was...buried in a tomb, yet He lives today!!!
