16 years

Me and Tony will be married 16 years tomorrow. I can't believe it's been that long..alot of hard work and the work never ends! I'm so proud of us, people just don't stay married anymore they don't think twice about splitting. It's getting harder to remember my life before him. We've been through so much! One of my favorite memories, of course is finding out we were going to be parents for the first time (Kayley) and having a son (Cody). Wouldn't change anything! Would do it all over again..in a heart beat. Congratulations to us we're pretty proud of ourselves.
Looking forward to many many more years together! I love ya Tony!

1st. grade Halloween party..

We only got one picture of the kids in their costumes this year I was out of town all weekend end attending a funeral. So it's been busy around here. They got lots of candy and had fun. Tony stayed and took them trick-or-treating while I went with my family, my great uncle passed away Friday. He will be dearly missed!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

Finally got to the Pumpkin Patch! The weather has been so bad here and Tony has been working out of town so it makes it hard to do things on the weekend but yesterday was such a beautiful day! Cody even milked a cow..such a cute place but not a whole lot of pumpkins left I guess that's what ya get for waiting till the last minute. But we had to get our trip to the patch in it's not Halloween with out it! We took a hay ride out to the patch and picked out our pumpkins, now if they were just carved already. Hard to believe it's Halloween this weekend and the time changes...it will be Christmas before you know it.

Gone Country...

We took the kids squirrel hunting...I know..what were we thinking? They had a blast with their dad! Only got one squirrel and seen some turkeys. I came along "to watch" I'm the family photographer:) We love making memories with the kids! Cody loves doing things with his dad especially MAN things! At one point Cody fell asleep, couldn't get a pic of that he woke up before I got to him. It was a beautiful day! Love the sunshine, changing leaves....God is good!

Honor

Went to our Supercenter here in Florence and as you walk in the door they have a Wall of Honor with soldiers and their names displayed. Very moving and right below it they have a book on a table that you can leave a message for our soldiers to read. With tears in my eyes all I could see enough to write was a simple THANK YOU!!! I'm going back tom. and see if I can get my brother's picture up there. Veterans Day is close and without our vets where would we be?? Not free! We owe them so much words are just not enough!!! Thank You Forever Thank You!!!!!!

Simple Things

The simple things in life are the sweetest! Put a roast in the oven, Tony is home for the weekend(which is rare) and going to watch a movie with the kids. I am blessed!! Life is good!

Halloween!

Just watching halloween shows with the kiddos (for kids of course)! Disney channel plays all the cute halloween shows now till the 31st. Gets you in the halloween spirit (kids style nothing too scary)! Tonite we're watching Wendy Meets Casper..one of my favorites. Trying to enjoy every minute! I know before too long they won't watch T.V. "with mom" let alone cute kid movies. I wish they could stay this age forever! They are so excited to go Trick-or-Treating to Iuka this year and I am too. Nothing like family! My sister is coming in from Arkansas to go Trick-or-Treating with us :) We can't wait to see her!
