9/11

Today is such a sad day for our country so many people died on this day 8 yrs. ago..doesn't seem that long ago. I remember where I was and what I was doing, shocked, scared, uncertain about what was happening and an overwhelming feeling of helplessness. I never thought that my little brother would be on his 2nd tour in Iraq because of the events that day! So it really hits close to home. He is a member of the 155th National Guard. Me and my entire family are on pins and needles until he comes home to us safely. He serves his country proudly without question like so many other souls did that day, running into burning buildings to help total strangers..what HEROES they are! And those who continue to fight the fight 8 yrs. later. THANK YOU is just not enough. God Bless Our Troops!! We Shall Never Forget!
