New beginnings...
Kayley and Cody will be going to a new school tom...so nervous for them but I know they will do just fine. Oh I wish I could take their place and make the world perfect for them but I can't. Cody is the shy one so I know tom. will be hard for him while Kayley is the outgoing one and she'll have new best friends by the end of the day. They are like night and day that's what makes me love them so much!! I am so thankful to have such sweet good kids! We are truly beginning to feel at home. Ready to get a routine going. No more moving for a very long, long time I hope. Time for the kids to put roots down and to begin life time friendships. My goal for this year is of course to be a better wife, mother, christian, daughter and friend. I want to reconnect in ways I haven't in a very long time. So easy to get caught up in every day life that we let our relationships with people fade. I want to be closer to Jesus. Be a better friend. And listen! Take more time for myself so I can be a better wife and mother. Lately I feel I have failed in that department. I want to spend more time with family and friends old and new! Counting the days till my baby brother comes home from Iraq! What a homecoming! I guess you could say we've had a homecoming too and it has been great! 2010 is going to be a wonderful year...haft to believe..right? I do believe and hope God will continue to bless us this year as he always does...Happy New Year and Happy new beginnings!!

Looking forward to getting everything done and getting our tree up in OUR house this year. The kids are so happy to be living in Iuka hope they adjust well..they will I hope this is it for a very long long time..done with moving. Had a great Thanksgiving ate too much didn't go shopping been to busy working on the house I'm ready to try and get in the Christmas spirit just not feeling it yet just got so much going on maybe once we get the tree up that will help:)

Thank You!
Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! Thank you!
We love you and miss you more everyday! Counting down the days till your homecoming. Hope ya have a great Veterans Day in Iraq. You are in our thoughts and prayers....always. Kayley and Cody send you hugs and ask about you everyday. They ask me why you just can't come home...and I try to explain to them what an important job you have and how you and alot of great men and women keeps us safe. They just smile and say o.k. so sweet. When they say their prayers every nite your the first thing they say....keep Chris safe! Your are loved and we are SO proud of you! I love this country. Pride is overwhelming. On days like today you can't help but think of all the men and women who GAVE their LIVES for our freedoms. I came across a quote from General George S. Patton...
"Don't morn the ones we have lost just thank God that such men lived."
Very fitting for Veterans day.

16 years

Me and Tony will be married 16 years tomorrow. I can't believe it's been that long..alot of hard work and the work never ends! I'm so proud of us, people just don't stay married anymore they don't think twice about splitting. It's getting harder to remember my life before him. We've been through so much! One of my favorite memories, of course is finding out we were going to be parents for the first time (Kayley) and having a son (Cody). Wouldn't change anything! Would do it all over again..in a heart beat. Congratulations to us we're pretty proud of ourselves.
Looking forward to many many more years together! I love ya Tony!

Party
We only got one picture of the kids in their costumes this year I was out of town all weekend end attending a funeral. So it's been busy around here. They got lots of candy and had fun. Tony stayed and took them trick-or-treating while I went with my family, my great uncle passed away Friday. He will be dearly missed!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

Finally got to the Pumpkin Patch! The weather has been so bad here and Tony has been working out of town so it makes it hard to do things on the weekend but yesterday was such a beautiful day! Cody even milked a cow..such a cute place but not a whole lot of pumpkins left I guess that's what ya get for waiting till the last minute. But we had to get our trip to the patch in it's not Halloween with out it! We took a hay ride out to the patch and picked out our pumpkins, now if they were just carved already. Hard to believe it's Halloween this weekend and the time changes...it will be Christmas before you know it.

Gone Country...

We took the kids squirrel hunting...I know..what were we thinking? They had a blast with their dad! Only got one squirrel and seen some turkeys. I came along "to watch" I'm the family photographer:) We love making memories with the kids! Cody loves doing things with his dad especially MAN things! At one point Cody fell asleep, couldn't get a pic of that he woke up before I got to him. It was a beautiful day! Love the sunshine, changing leaves....God is good!
